IKD signs full APS agreement with ION

IKD, is Bok og Kontorkjedene Norge AS (BKN) owns logistics/distribution centre and is responsible for the total supply chain management to both the branded Houses.

BKN is the largest group within the Book and paper market in Norway, with a combined turnover in consumer sales of NOK 1,8 billion, inclusive of sales to the professional office supplies market.

The BKN Group is handling the distribution through two separate chains. Market share in the book trade market is 30%. Together, the two branded Houses have 200 outlets in Norway and the chains have a total national coverage.

ION opens an office in Vancouver, Canada

ErgoGroup places an order for monitoring of JDEdwards at ION

ErgoGroup, the largest supplier of hosting services in Norway has placed an order at ION for JDEdwards monitoring services. Lansforsakringar, Sweden’s biggest insurance company goes live on new ERP JDE solution with help from ION Softnet

Lansforsakringar went live dated 20-Feb-2006 on their new JDE solution all automated and integrated to banking systems. This is one of the biggest IT project in the Nordic region for the last couple of years. ION Softnet have been delivering all development and CNC help to this project offshore. Merger between Plain AS and ION Softnet Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

As a result of Oracle's change of strategy regarding sales and consulting for J D Edwards product line, Plain AS and ION Softnet Solutions Pvt. Ltd. have made a decision to merge into one organization. From 1st of January, Plain AS will change name to ION Softnet AS. The companies will have global management and organizational model. The company will continue strengthening the local competence and presence in the Nordic JD Edwards market combined with even better onshore/offshore services and enhanced product lines.

ION Softnet have, in cooperation with Oracle, scheduled to sign Oracle JD Edwards Value Added partner agreement with Oracle. It is, from both parts, expected to sign the agreement during January. As partner, ION Softnet will have responsibility for license sales and consulting in Nordic region.
