Client & Support Management Services:

This department is a single point of contact for all types of communication between clients and ION; acts as a resource that enables ION to better serve its customers.

IT – Infrastructure Maintenance Services:

This is an internal support and services department that provides the list of services to internal users of ION.

Service provided:

  • Maintain ION’s internal computer network – LAN and WAN connectivity

  • Maintain Servers, Firewall, Switches & Routers, and other network devices.
     
  • Configure & Maintain application servers (SQL Server, IIS, Exchange Server, Blackberry Server, etc.)

  • Install and configure various applications on different computers.
     
  • Take back-up of critical data on daily and weekly basis, and much more.

  • Co-ordinating with the ISP for maintaining the leased line connectivity and troubleshoot it in case of an issue.
     
  • Updating and implementing the IT-Security policies.

  • Maintaining Ion’s internal computer network – LAN and WAN connectivity

  • Configure & Maintain application servers (SQL Server, IIS, Exchange Server, Blackberry Server, etc.)

  • Maintaining the Software and Hardware assets inventories

  • Troubleshooting issues related to desktops, laptops, servers and other IT assets.
     
  • Analysing the Hardware & Software requirements of the organization and sending requisition's for purchase of new product/services when required.

  • Co-ordinating with various vendors regarding the technical aspects of any requisition
     

CNC Services:

This department is dedicated for clients. It provides support at normal hours as well as services on-demand.

Service provided:

  • Install, Maintain and configure Peoplesoft Enterprise One and JDEdwards One World

  • Build, Deploy and Troubleshoot Full and Update Packages, internally and for all client installations.
     
  • Install ESU/ASU on different client releases

  • Configure and troubleshoot technical issues related to Peoplesoft database and database connectivity.
     
  • Install, configure and maintain Peoplesoft Enterprise One Web Environment. Which include JAS , Webportal and Websphere Server.

  • Install and configure applications on Peoplesoft.
     
  • Maintain data related to projects of Peoplesoft.

  • Troubleshoot the application module of Peoplesoft
     
  • Troubleshooting Technical issues related to Peoplesoft .

  • configure and troubleshoot security setup for Peoplesoft application's
     
  • Assigning of CNC tasks and activities from time to time.

  • Daily Service Call troubleshooting.

  • Work on call assigned on WSS.

  • Carrying out Bergesen monitoring and reporting the weekly status of the reporting to the management
     

DBA Services:

This department provides services to internal and external clients for database administration and troubleshooting.

Service provided:

  • Understand business processes, required to provide application support

  • Support applications by maintaining close liaison with vendor and application users
     
  • Support applications by maintaining close liaison with vendor and application users

  • Coordinate with vendor and application users updates and patches.
     
  • Provide expert support for application maintenance, modification and enhancement

  • Install, configure, upgrade software: server, tools, applications
     
  • Monitor, tune, size, backup, recover, analyze, defrag, migrate

  • Design and implement backup methods and disaster recovery strategies
     
  • Design and implement DB security, user management

  • SQL and PL/SQL: scripts, triggers, procedures, packages, automation projects
     
  • High availability, 24X7, clusters, replication, standby database, RMAN

  • Design/ Model DB structures
     
  • Provide support to developers w.r.t tuning DB and apps

  • Monitor DB growth and provide planning for apps expansion
     
  • Migrate DB between software versions, platforms, DB products

This department provides various service to the clients on development, upgrades and retrofitting work, functional and technical consultant. ION has been providing JDE Enterprise One consulting service to the clientele-companies across the world in the areas of insurance, shipping, manufacturing and retail sector.
